Dodge durango intermittent starting problem

Fast forward to this week, and the intermittent start issue is back. Sometimes the truck starts on the first key turn, sometimes it starts on the 4th or 5th. Never cranks, just clicks once. Then this morning it just didn't start. Clicked once each key turn for about 10 cycles.

Replaced the battery in the pickup, all good (bad cell). Jumped the D and it fired right up with a booster box, haven't had a problem since, making sure to drive it to work once every week or so, which is a one hour drive on the highway each way, last used it on Tuesday of this week, no issues. Rotate it from off to run (not start) 3 time within 5 seconds. you'll end up leaving it in run. Any stored codes will display on the odometer readout., In this case then this sort of (maybe) eliminates the crankshaft position sensor but leaves a flaky/intermittent fuel pump as a possible explanation. If possible you want to when you go to start the engine try to confirm the fuel pump is running. If you go to start the engine and do not hear the pump running then that tells you something.
