Description. Constructed with a hammer forged slide and an injection molded polymer frame, Taurus' Millennium Pro PT145 is a pocket size, extremely lightweight double action only autoloader in .45 ACP that weighs a mere 22.6 ounces. It joins Taurus' family of ultra compact personal defense Millennium autoloaders.

The PT145 created a bit of a dilemma for me in that no one seems to make an aftermarket recoil spring assembly for it, and Taurus only offers the factory springs. But fear not, I may have found a solution. In surfing Midway USA's site I noticed they offered non-captive recoil spring assemblies for the Glock 36.The Millennium Pro series is the third generation of the Taurus pistols. The second generation (and perhaps the first; I don't recall off hand) was titled simply Millennium. The Pro series seems to have worked out many of the kinks that were common in the first and second generations.
