Clean or replace the oxygen sensors: Faulty oxygen sensors can trigger the P0430 code. Clean the sensors first, and if that doesn't solve the issue, consider replacing them. 3., The P2098 trouble code stands for “Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Lean (Bank 2),” meaning the oxygen levels leaving the converter in the exhaust stream on the bank 2 side are too high. Causes for the P2098 code include a leaking exhaust system, a bad or failing upstream oxygen sensor, or a problem in the post-catalytic oxygen …, Reset the code and tried starting it again.....again a very long crank time and P0340 code. I guess the new sensor I put in crapped out, so I go and install the spare one I had (which by the way was stored in my unheated shed). Tried to start the Jeep and again long crank time and immediately got a P0340 code. Now I'm worried.
