I'm looking to get a Bulgarian .22 conversion kit for a Makarov PM. Its a smaller barrel inserted into the main barrel of the pistol. The .22 barrel is held in place with a screw on nut at the end of the barrel. For a better idea of what I am talking about..., Fiocchi Shooting Dynamics ammo is roughly the same a the 9MM Makarov in energy (0.5*mass*velocity^2), probably a bit faster than stated from a longer threaded barrel.
