My preference is based totally on looks and with that I rank Pro-Action #1, Ohlins #2 and Legends #3. I like the finish of the Pro-Action shocks and they look more robust than the other two brands. I only rank Ohlins #2 because of the external reservoir. The black finish looks great and matches the theme of our bike.

The Xidas like to ride lower than the ohlins and the ohlins have less travel in the rear.
