Now, after re-assembling it I racked the slide for a functions check. The slide stayed to the rear and would not go back into battery. I couldn't do anything to bring the slide back ... It's held in by the two pins in the frame, above the trigger, that hold in the locking block. If you only drift the pins enough to clear the spring you might be able to remove it. Put the frame inside a gallon size ziplock back so you don't lose any parts.
