Recently my Arthur returned from Guarma and I noticed that despite I have 16 lady of the night orchids in my satchel and a few plumes, the checkbox list on Duchesses and Other Animals quest says I have 0/30 collected items. I tried to pick up another lady of the night orchid and it did nothing, it still says that I have 0/30 exotic items needed.

Thanks this just saved me,i was going to load another save from chapter 2. You can collect all the plumes and gator eggs prior to starting that mission, there’s no spawn restriction there. I have all of those in chapter 2.
