Rapier is Broken, you can finish the game just using rapiers, use the stone ring that makes you able to break the enemies' poise more easily = easy game. So Ricards has the best dex scaling but medium base dmg, while the Espada has great dex scaling as well and higher base dmg. I honestly don't know at which point the scaling of Ricards outclasses the Espada.
